The absence of the original packaging does not exclude the statutory right of cancellation. However, you may be liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
In the event of cancellation, you bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
For goods which, due to their nature, cannot normally be returned by post, the direct return shipping costs are estimated at a maximum of approximately EUR 250.00.
The stated amount is not a flat-rate return fee. The actual direct costs incurred for the return shipment are decisive.
The right of cancellation is excluded only in the cases provided for by law.
This may in particular apply to goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or decision by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs.
The right of cancellation is not excluded on a general basis merely because the goods are electrical or electronic parts, clocks, sensors, light bulbs, goods that have already been unpacked or goods sold by the metre.
In the case of individually ordered or cut-to-size goods, whether the right of cancellation is excluded depends on the statutory requirements and the specific degree of individualisation of the goods.
If there is no right of cancellation for a specific item, we will inform you accordingly before you place your order.
If delivered goods are defective, damaged or do not correspond to the agreed characteristics, you are entitled to the statutory rights in respect of defects.

Within the scope of statutory supplementary performance, we bear the expenses required for this in accordance with the statutory provisions.
Before carrying out a repair, we inform consumers of their statutory right to choose between repair and replacement delivery, as well as of the fact that, in the event of supplementary performance by way of repair, the original limitation period for claims for defects is extended once by twelve months.
If possible, please do not return defective goods carriage forward and do not send them without prior coordination. For items expressly marked as exchange or replacement parts, the return of a suitable old part may form part of the respective offer.
The applicable conditions, in particular the amount of any old-part deposit, the return period, the requirements relating to the old part to be returned and, where applicable, the costs of returning the old part, are set out in the information for the respective item or in the information provided before the order is placed.
The return of an old part as part of an exchange system is legally distinct from the return of the purchased goods due to cancellation or a claim for defects.
Your statutory rights of cancellation and rights in respect of defects remain unaffected.
